I’m on to the second cider from my recent Canadian cider buying spree (The Great Haul of ’13), Duke’s Cider. Duke’s Cider (Gluten Free!) is produced by Tree Brewing out in Kelowna, B.C.

I should probably start off by saying that I really want to love this cider. I haven’t tried too many Canadian ciders and, as a rule, I really like to support local (I’m using the term “local” loosely here. It’s made in B.C. and I live in Edmonton.) I buy my produce and meat at the farmer’s market. If I could eat cheese, I’d buy that locally, too. So when I saw that there were a number of Canadian ciders available for me to try, I jumped at the chance. Read on, Macduff…
