Welcome!

Welcome to my (not so) humble cider review blog! It’s based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, so it’s limited in its breadth of reviews to what’s available in the province. Thankfully, cider availability has been increasing exponentially over the past year or two. Alberta went from only really having the big players, like Strongbow and Magners ciders, and locally-produced options, like Big Rock’s Rock Creek Cider, to being able to support dedicated cider-sections in liquor store coolers.

I’m slowly working my way through all of the available options. I’ve tried many more ciders than I’ve reviewed here on Hard Press’d but, because I’m working for you I’m willing to go back and review old favourites too. There’s no rhyme or reason to the order in which I review ciders– I choose based on my mood. That said, if you’re dead curious about a particular cider, drop me a line and I’ll move it to the top of the queue because you’re just that important to me.
